What separates us from other funeral homes? We are a family owned business, which means that a corporate office does not dictate our costs. We can save you money on all the services we provide, which include, traditional, alternative, and cremation. The cost of our traditional funeral is approximately half the cost of any other funeral home.
We offer pre-arranged funerals that may or may not be pre-paid. A pre-arranged funeral alleviates the risk of people not making clear decisions when the family is under stress.
You're always welcome to walk in the door and leave your wishes here and pre-pay, if you wish, guaranteeing your funeral at today's prices. If you have pre-paid your funeral elsewhere but would prefer to have your funeral at the Benson Funeral Home, it is easy to have your plan transferred. There are no tax implications in doing this.
Patrick Benson is well known in the area and grew up on King Street in Millbrook. His grand parents are Rev. Canon Walter Dyer and Mrs. Ina Dyer. Rev. Dyer was the Minister at St. Thomas Anglican Church on Centre Street in Millbrook for a number of years.

In July 2011 Benson Funeral Home was able to move from the downtown area to its Present location #35 King Street West. This new location features a historic family home with beautiful gardens and larger facitlites for all types of gatherings. The "homey" atmosphere puts our families at ease and has been described as "relaxing" during a very difficult time.
