My family and I are proud to be a part of your community. My Grandparents, Walter and Ina Dyer owned and operated the Cavan Store in the 1950's prior to my Grandfather entering into Ministry and eventually becoming Incumbent of the Parish of Millbrook and Cavan Manvers. During my grandparents ministry in this area I was raised and attended both "The Old" Millbrook School and South Cavan Public School. It is my privilege to serve families I remember from my childhood and to provide this service surrounded by the land we call home.
Patrick W. Benson - Funeral Director - Patrick brings 13 years experience in funeral service. He owned and operated Central Ontario Services ( a funeral trade service company) working closely with other funeral professionals, the area Coroners and various Police Services.
Lori A.M. Chatten - Funeral Director and Certified Funeral Celebrant - Benson Funeral Home is delighted to have Lori join the funeral home staff. Lori who was raised in Omemee began her funeral career in Toronto. She has been serving families in the funeral and cemetery field for several years. She is grateful to be able to bring her experience back to a small town community. Lori is also a Certified Funeral Celebrant specializing in officiating for non religious funerals.
